Cape Spencer is located on the Alaskan coast, at the entrance to Cross Sound, or Icy
Strait.
It is home to the Cape Spencer Light, a lighthouse first lit in 1925, and considered
by the US Coast Guard to be one of the most isolated of Alaskan lighthouses.1
