Sinclair, Captain Robert Bligh
Capt. Robert Bligh Sinclair, a Yorkshireman, served from 1839-50 in the 42nd Regiment
and had spent some time in the California mines. He was considered by the Colonial
Office as a possible candidate as police inspector for British Columbia.
