I have the honor to acquaint Your Grace that Colonel Moody
commanding the Troops in British Columbia has made requisition
upon me for Funds to meet the amount of Military Pay due to the
Royal Engineers for the months of July
July and August, and the amounts
of Working pay due to the Royal Engineers and Royal Marines for
the month of August, amounting in the whole to the sum of, in
round numbers, Three Thousand Pounds.
