I am directed by Mr Secretary Herbert to transmit herewith, a Statement of Stores &c supplied for Service of the Royal Engineers British Columbia, amounting to £1136.16.11 and I am further to request that you will cause the above sum to be transferred in the Books of the Paymaster General to the Credit of this Department.

Request the Treasury to transfer the amount to the credit of the War Department, from the Parliamentary Vote for B. Columbia, and inform the War Department that this is done?
