I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No 190 of the 6th of July reporting that you had relieved Mr Brew of the duties of Gold Commissioner and also that you had appointedMrManuscript image Mr Peter O'Reilly to be Justice of the Peace at Langley in the place of Mr Bedford who had resigned that Office.
