I have the honor to enclose herewith for your Grace's consideration, copy of a letter I have received from Colonel Moody on the subject of Captain Grant's travelling expenses in England, when on Colonial Service.

I suppose that this claim—apparently not included in the settlement by Colonel Moody's of the other Officers travelling expenses in this Country—must be recommended to the Treasury: but it is known to me now for the first time that with the exception of Colonel Moody such a charge was to be imposed on the public.
