The acting Colonial Commissary having made requisition on me as by letter herewith enclosed, for the sum of Fifteen Hundred Pounds (£1500), being the necessary outlay in the Military branch of that department for the 2nd quarter of the present year, I have the honour to Manuscript image to acquaint your Grace that not having funds in the Colonial Chest to meet this demand, I have instructed the Treasurer to procure the above named sum by Bills on Her Majesty's Paymaster General, and I trust your Grace will be pleased to obtain the necessary authority from the Lords Commissoners of the Treasury, for the Bills presented on this account to be paid, when they become due Manuscript image due.
