Sir,

With reference to your Letter of the 14th Instant, I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs Cox & Co on account of Captain Grant RE the sum of £15 for Travelling Expenses incurred by him in October 1858 in connection with the Colonial Service of British Columbia.
