Sir,
I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to accept & pay a Bill drawn by W.D. Gosset Esqre by command of the Governor of British Columbia for the sum of £250.
The Bills drawn cannot be identified with the sums which the Governor advises the Secretary of State. That cannot be done till accounts are received.
