Sir,
With reference to your Letter of the 31st Ultimo, I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs Cox & Co as Agents for Col Moody the sum of £300 on account of his Salary of £1200 per Annum as Commissioner of Works in British Columbia for the Qr ended 31 March last.
