Sir,

I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay a Bill for £500 (No 3) drawn by Mr Gossett, Treasurer of British Columbia for Regimental Pay of the Royal Engineers, and a Bill for £50 (No 4) drawn by Mr Gossett on the same account.
