Sir,
I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to accept and pay the undermentioned Bills for the service of British Columbia, vizt, one for £900 drawn by J. Douglas Esqre for Salary as Governor during the half year ended 30th June 1860, and £81 (No 23) drawn by W.D. Gossett Esqre, Treasurer, for the general service of the Colony.
