Douglas forwards Newcastle a comparative approximate Statement of the Revenue of the Colony of British Columbia during the Half years ending 30th of June 1860 and 1861. Blackwood minutes that the Assay fees are much less than I expected, & I think, than the amount the Governor gave us reason to hope for when the Dt was established.
