In reply to your Letter of the 17th Instant, I am commanded by the Lords Commissoners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs Cox & Co on account of Col Moody, R.E., Commissioner of Lands & Works in British Columbia, the sum of £300 for Salary due to that Officer at the rate of £1,200 per annum for the Quarter ended 31st March 1861.
