In reply to your letter of the 7th instant, I am commanded by the Lords Commissoners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs. Cox & Co on account of Colonel Moody, R.E. the sum of £300, being his Salary for Quarter ended 30 June, 1861, as Commissioner of Lands and Works in British Columbia.
