Cox & Co. to Rogers (Permanent Under-Secretary)
Craigs Court, S.W.
8th March 1861
Not having received from Colonel R.C. Moody, R.E., H.M's Commissioner of Works, British Columbia, the usual certificate of existence to 31st December last, we have the honor to transmit a letter from that officer, dated 1st January, which, we trust, may be considered sufficient to allow of the usual document being sent to us for presentation to H.M's Paymaster General, in order that we may obtain his salary for December quarter.
We have the honor to be, Sir,
Your most obedient Servants
Cox & Co.
