With reference to your letter of the 24th ultimo, I am commanded by the Lords Commissoners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay the two Bills drawn by Mr Gosset, Treasurer of British Columbia, for the sum of £1,000 each, on account of the Colonial Pay &c of Royal Engineers.
