I am directed by the Lords Commissoners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, that, on consideration of the circumstances detailed in the Despatch of the Governor of British Columbia, My Lords will not withhold Their assent from the proposal of the Governor to makeaManuscript image a separate appointment, with a salary of £500 a year, for the Office of Registrar General of Titles to Land.
