Sir,
We have the honor to enclose a life certificate from
Colonel R.C. Moody R.E., dated 1st January last, and
to request that the usual document may be sent to us,
enabling us to claim that Officer's salary, December quarter
1862, as Chief Commissioner of Lands &c in British Columbia.
