I have the honor to transmit herewith a Requisition from the Harbour Master for certain Buoys and Moorings required for the entrance of Fraser River and to request you will be good enough to instruct the Crown Agents to procure the Articles in question and to ship them to this Colony with all convenient speed.

I suspect that the local Authorities must be ignorant of the very heavy expenses usually occasioned by Buoys and Moorings, and I think that a previous inquiry of the present kind is a necessary precaution.
