I have the honor to transmit a Return, showing the
amount issued from the
Colonial Treasury during the Year
1864, on account of certain pensions granted by the Imperial
Government to persons late of Her Majesty's Army and the
Irish Constabulary Force, but now
resident resident in this Colony,
and I would suggest that the amount, one hundred and two
pounds fourteen shillings and six pence (£102.14.6) be reimbursed to
this Colony through the Colonial Agents. The necessary
vouchers accompany the Return.
2. I have to request that you will be good enough to
instruct me as to the future payment of these pensions.
