Sir,
I beg to solicit your attention to the application addressed
by me to the Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies for six
weeks extension of the leave of absence granted me by Governor
Seymour, and I shall be very thankful for an early reply to that
application as the period of my actual leave is now so nearly
exhausted.
