I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to send you herewith for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies an acknowledgement of the receipt of a cheque for £10.4s.0d transmitted with the Colonial office letter of the 29th ulto on account of the Entertainment of Captain Kennedy late Governor of Vancouvers Island in HM'sShipManuscript image Ship Sparrowhawk in April 1866.
