Sir,
I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, with reference to your letter of the 8th Inst, that My Lords approve of the Grant to Mr Watson, late Treasurer of British Columbia, of six months Salary and a free passage home for himself, Wife, and family, as recommended by His Grace the Duke of Buckingham and Chandos.
