I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of the Duke of Buckingham & Chandos, with reference to your letter of the 10th Inst, that My Lords have directed Their Solicitor to settle with Mr Reilly for the Fees due to him in respect of his services in the preparation of a Bill for the Union of British Columbia & Vancouver Island; as requested by His Grace.
