I have the honor to forward an authenticated and two plain copies of an Ordinance of the recent Session of the Legislature of this Colony entitled: No 1. An Ordinance to establish a Standard of WeightsandManuscript image and Measures.
2. I add the report of the Attorney General.
3. This Ordinance was brought before the Legislative Council in order to carry out the instructions conveyed in Your Graces despatch No 56 of the 10 September 1867.

The Ordinance of 1867 (which was open to several objections which were pointed out in the Despatch of Sept 1867) is repealed and the amendments suggested have been made.
