With reference to my letter of the 13th November last on the subject of the repeal of the 163rd and 328th sections of the 16 and 17 Victoria C. 107, I am directed by the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade to request that you will state to the Duke of Buckingham and Chandos that if His Grace concurs with them inthinkingManuscript image thinking that course desirable, a favorable opportunity will present itself in connection with the Consolidation of the Merchant Shipping Acts now in course of preparation in this Department, and that My Lords will therefore be glad to be favored with His Grace's views on this subject at his early convenience.
