My Lord,
I deferred my reply to your Lordships Circular Despatch of the 25th February last, while the Land Registry Ordinance passed during the last Session of the Legislature was under preparation and consideration.
2. The Attorney General's Report upon that measure, enclosed with it in my Despatch No. 86 of the 11th July will afford the information which wassoughtManuscript image sought upon the points mentioned in Your Lordship's Circular; but I now also forward a Memorandum prepared by Mr Alston the Registrar General of Titles, more especially replying to the Queries put by Your Lordship.
