With reference to your letter of the 11th ultimo, I am directed by Earl Granville to transmit to you, to be laid before the Earl of Kimberley, a despatch from Her Majesty's Minister at Washington, inclosing copies of a correspondence he has received from the United States' Government, from which it will be perceived that they have decided that the Census of the IslandofManuscript image of San Juan of San Juan shall not be taken by their Authorities.
