My Lord,
I have the honor to apply for one month's extra Leave of absence
from my duties in British Columbia. I feel the more emboldened
in making this request, in view of the fact that I have been
detained in Town for more than two (2) months, in Carrying out
the Female Emigration Scheme,
which has been so far completed,
that the Vessel has sailed from Liverpool for Victoria.
