I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 63
of the
11 May and to convey to you Her Majesty's Gracious confirmation
and allowance of the Ordinance passed by the Government of
British
Columbia and entitled No. 16 of
1870 An "Ordinance to assimilate and
amend the Law relating
to to Bills of sale."
I have to point out to you however that it is not correct to repeal
an Imperial Act as is done by the first Section of this ordinance, the
proper course to assume is to enact that the Imperial Act shall be no
longer in force with the Colony.
