I have the honor to forward to Your Lordship an authenticated and two plain copies of an Act passed by the Legislative Council entitled— An Act relating toproceedingsManuscript image proceedings under the Tax Sale Repeal Ordinance, 1867.
2. In my Speech at the opening of the Session of the Legislative Council I referred to the circumstances which have rendered this measure necessary and the Attorney General's Report which I enclose sufficiently explains the character of itsprovisisonsManuscript image provisions.

This is a very proper ordinance, enabling the Govr to appoint Commissioners to examine into & correct a list of lands liable to certain duties, which is alleged to be incorrect.
