My Lord,
I have been requested on behalf of John Linn late of the Corps
of Royal Engineers to forward the enclosed Certificate for
transmission to the proper authorities at the War Office inorder
order that he may be enabled to draw his deferred Pension on the
23rd July next. I am informed that he was discharged in 1863
with a pension deferred for eight years and that on application
instructions will be sent from the War Office for the payment
when due.
