My Lord,
Referring to my Despatch No 45, of 8th instant, I have the
honor to forward another copy of the same Resolutions therein
enclosed, respecting the Civil List Act,which

2. The so called Public Meeting was got up by the same persons
who were active in the matter in Victoria; and Your Lordship may
be able to form some opinion of the character of the assemblage
from the annexed extract fromthe

April reporting their proceedings. The Colonist by no means
usually shews any favor to the policy of the Government.
