My Lord,
Referring to Your Lordship's Despatch No 54, of the 8th June,
1870, I have the honor to report that by this Mail the Sum of
Six hundred and Seventy-five Pounds, Two shillings and Fourpence
(£675.2/4) hasbeen been remitted to the Crown Agents with instructions to
pay it over to the War Department in liquidation of the amount due
from this Government for Arms and Ammunition.
