I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Mr Merivale's letter of yesterday's date, informing me, by your direction, that Her Majesty's Ship "Satellite" has probably reached Vancouver's Island, and that another vessel is on her way there; and I beg to convey the thanks of the Directors of the Hudson's Bay Company for this communication.
