I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No
5 of the 15th March last, transmitting copy of a Despatch from
Her Majesty's Minister at Washington, reporting what had passed
between him and the United States Secretary of State, relative
to the payment of the money, which I advanced to the Governor of
