Douglas acknowledges receipt of correspondence on payments for the
the Lighthouses in Fuca Strait, and at Esquimalt Harbour,noting that he has
instructed the Treasurer in accordance therewith, and have authorized him to draw upon the Board of Trade in the manner pointed out, for the sum of Fifteen hundred pounds>.
