I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to enclose a statement, accompanied by Vouchers, of expenses, amounting to Fifteen pounds, fourteen shillings, and three pence, incurred by the Naval Department for stores supplied to the Colonial Department, for the Quarter ended the 30th June last; and to request that you will move His Grace The Duke of Newcastle to cause repayment of the amount to be made to the credit of Naval Services, through Her Majesty's Paymaster General, who has been authorised to receive the same.

The charge of 12s/ for Colonel Hawkins is a Foreign Office matter—no doubt for the service of the Boundary Commissioners.
We have no infn concerning the claim on acct of the Falklands.

Forward the demand in respect to the "Satellite" to the Foreign Office and tell the Admiralty that we have done so, stating in both letters that we do so as we presume that this must have been a supply for the use of [the] Boundary Comrs.
Tell the Governor of the Falklands that we have been placed in possession of the receipt of the Colonial Secretary for this supply of which the cost amounts to £15.2.3, and instruct him to remit the money forthwith to this Country, in order that the same may be paid to the Naval Dept.
