I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of Your Graces Despatch No 15, of the 20th October 1859, approving of the proposed Sale of certain inferior land in the neighbourhood of Victoria, at

at a reduced price and of the intention of keeping open the Cowitchen and Nanaimo Valleys for Settlement, as reported in my Despatch No 25 of the 15h July 1859.
