information of His Grace The Duke of Newcastle, a copy of an
instruction respecting the question of San Juan which was sent to
Lord Lyons by the last Mail in answer to the Despatch from General
Cass to Mr Dallas, of which a copy waswas forwarded to you in Mr
Hammond's letter of the 2nd Instant.
