Sir,
I transmit to you herewith for your confidential use, in order that you may be in possession of all that passes between H.M. Government and the Government of the U. States, relative to the joint occupation of the Island of San Juan, the enclosed copies of two letters from the Foreign Office enclosing copies of the recent correspondence with H.M's Minister at Washington on the subject.
