I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of your Despatch N 8 of the
5 March, calling my attention to the absence of a special and
complete rely to Your Graces Despatches of the
2 and
19 of June
last, forwarding charges
preferred preferred by
M E.E. Langford against
certain Officers serving under my Government both in this Colony and
in
British Columbia.
2. I am glad to think that probably in a few days after the departure of
the Despatch now under reply, Your Grace would receive my Despatches
N 3, 4, and 5 of the
14 February, reporting in full upon the
complaints of
M Langfordand and upon the particular points connected
therewith.
