Sir,
I have the honor to acquaint you for the information of His Grace the
Duke of Newcastle that The Colonial Treasurer of Vancouver Island has
drawn the following Bills on the Agents General at 30 days sight
No 1 for £ 500
4 " £1,000 dated 27th February 1863
5 " £1,000 and I beg to be favored with the necessary authority for the acceptance of the same.
