With reference to your letter of the 2nd October last I am directed
by the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade to transmit
to you the enclosed Statement of expenses amounting to Two hundred
and thirty one pounds nineteen shillings and fourpence (£231.19.4)
incurred by the Board of Trade for Supplies shipped by the "Fusi Yama" for the use of the Lighthouses at Vancouvers Island.

My Lords direct me to request that you will move His Grace the Duke
of Newcastle to cause instructions to be given for the payment of the
above sum to Her Majesty's Paymaster General to be placed to the
credit of the account for Lighthouses abroad.

of the VanC. Isld Loan funds in their hands. See 2390—the Govr
being duly apprized.
