Abstract
Despatch from London.
Cardwell informs Kennedy that he has received Douglas’s requisitions for stores for the Race Rocks and
Fisgard Island lighthouses. He also informs him that the stores have been sent by the Board of Trade and the Crown Agents General will repay the cost.

Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your predecessor's
despatches Nos. 1 and 2 of the 8th and 10th of February last, enclosing
requisitions for certain stores for the Light Houses at Race Rocks and
Fisgard Island.
As on formeroccasions
occasions stores required for these Lighthouses have
been procured and forwarded to the Colony by the Board of Trade, I have
requested the Lords of the Committee to give directions for the supply
of the Stores now required.
