Direct the Governor to cause repayment to be made as directed. In the state of V.C.I. Funds, & adverting to the conduct of the Assy in refusing to reimburse Govt advances it wd be hazardous for us to direct the Crown Agents to pay money on behalf of the Colony.
ABd 21 June
I have to add that on the 31 May the V.C.I. acct with the Agents was overdrawn £436.17.6.
Write to Govr as proposed.

Mr Jadis
Let it be seen that no answer was received from Captn Kennedy to our despatch No 28 of 27 June 1866. If none was received, I am afraid that we must send a copy of it to Captn Kennedy and tell him that the Admiralty have renewed their application for payment.
