I am informed that the Staff Asst Surgeon 1 who accompanied the Expedition to British Columbia is to receive the colonial pay of a Subaltern viz £250 per annum. I have the honour therefore to request this same may be likewise included in the list forwarded to you on the 15th instant 2 for the advance of 120 days pay and that it may be credited into the same at Messrs Cox & Co.
