having been entertained on board Her Majesty's Gun Boat Grappler on the occasions and between the dates stated against his name; I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to request that you will move the Duke of Newcastle to cause me to be informed, whether the expense of the Entertainment is to be borne by the Public.
