With reference to Mr Elliot's letter of 8th inst. I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to the Account of Naval Services, the sum of £98.10/s, being the amount of Freight of certain Hay and Oats shipped on board the "Thames City" for British Columbia in 1858, for the use of the Royal Engineers proceeding to that Colony.
